Hungry Hippos Dash & Grab

Hungry Hippos Dash & Grab is a fast-paced, competitive inflatable game that delivers constant action and plenty of laughter. Inspired by the classic tabletop game, this life-sized version transforms players into “human hungry hippos” as they race, stretch and scramble to collect as many balls as possible before time runs out.

Four players are strapped into individual harnesses attached to powerful bungee cords. When the game begins, each participant sprints towards the centre of the inflatable to grab balls matching their allocated colour. It sounds simple, but the resistance of the bungee cords adds a physical challenge, pulling players back just as they reach for the prize.

How the Game Works

Once a ball is collected, it must be placed into the player’s collection pouch to count towards their score. Any balls dropped or left loose do not count. When the whistle blows – or when all balls have been collected – players return to their starting positions to tally their totals. The player with the highest number of balls wins the round.

This format makes Hungry Hippos Dash & Grab ideal for quick rotations, tournaments and repeat play, keeping both participants and spectators fully engaged.
